Here are the free PlayStation Plus games for July 2016

Each month, a new range of free downloadable games becomes available to North American, European and Australian PlayStation Plus subscribers, with titles across PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

We suggest you grab these games while they’re free, as you’ll then be able to play them as long as you have an active Plus subscription.

As the free games are refreshed monthly, we’ve taken the liberty of keeping you updated on the titles that are being offered.

Here are your free PlayStation Plus games for July 2016, which will be available from Tuesday, July 5 (PDT).

PlayStation 4

Furi – an arcade-style action game inspired by the likes of Devil May Cry and God Hand, Furi tasks the player with controlling a white-haired swordsman who must do battle with a series of increasingly difficult bosses. Supreme wits and reflexes will be needed to survive this incredibly stylish game from The Game Bakers.

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell – originally a Grand Theft Auto copycat, the Saints Row series eventually morphed into something much crazier, with the standalone expansion Saints Row: Gat out of Hell taking the franchise in an incredibly over-the-top direction. Explore the sandbox of New Hades and make sure you’re packing a Dubstep Gun while you do it.

PlayStation 3

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood – while you wait for Rockstar’s Red Dead series to return, why not head back to the Old West with this entertaining western shooter from developer Techland (Dead Island)? Period detail is impressive, and there are some well-realised Civil War battles and quick-draw shootouts to take part in throughout.

Fat Princess – an adorable and colourful strategy game, Fat Princess takes the concept of Capture the Flag into new territory, tasking players with protecting their titular princess in multiplayer matches of up to 32 players.

PS Vita

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines – this Japanese role playing game is a sequel to the original PlayStation game, Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke. The game deals with a character whose bloodline is cursed, making him destined to do battle with a demon.

Prince of Persia: Revelation – this handheld port of the 2004 PC and console game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, sequel to the classic Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, sees the Prince hunted by Dahaka, the living embodiment of Fate.

As an added bonus for this month only, PS Plus members are being given early access to Paragon, the new MOBA from Epic Games, before the game’s open beta officially launches on August 16.
